The place is used as the lounge, reception, waiting and meeting area of the building which is based within the headquarters of an international shoe brand's distributor company in Turkey.
The main meeting room is positioned in a pretty lightened side of the building which faces the view. The perception in the entrance area was quite critic in terms of being the first volume that the visitors encounter with the building. An axis that defines an intense experience is fictionalised which welcomes the visitors from the relatively dark and small entrance area and carries them to the more lightened and wide meeting room's side. It was only possible for this axis to be fluid and uninterrupted form with a curvilinear touch, based upon the physcical conditions of the building like existing bearing walls. A seperator wall, refers to brand's dynamic and comfortable style, is designed by stretching fabric between curvilinear profiles positioned to the floor and the ceiling in different projections. The ropes placed on fabric layer created a perception which varies due to different lighting circumstances. The path, defines passing space, offers visitors an experience with it's form reminding a canyon which they come across to the meeting room and the view surprisingly by tightening in the passage point after the entrance area.
An iron unit with strict lines is designed for the peception desk which contrasts with the curvilinear form. The space, left out of the curvilinear seperator layer, is designed as the waiting, resting and the lounge area where the visitors and company employees can make their small meetings. In this section, adopted an approach for the users to move away from the work oriented concept throughout the building and to spend some joyous time in a cosy environment.
