The space is based within the headquarters of an international shoe brand’s distributor company in Turkey and performance shoes of the brand are exhibited in this space.
The showroom is used for presentation of season products to the dealer agents by the sales representatives of the brand, in order cycles.
The elements of performance shoes of the brand such as comfort, flexibility and liquid movement experience, served a referance for the continuity of the curvilinear organic form in the space. In the space that running, walking and fitness shoes are displayed, the liquid form calling dynamism points a fast and active life style’s spatial equivalence.
The curvilinear display system surrounds the meeting table placed in the center of the space as an amphiteatre typology by providing all the products to be percieved as far as possible from the same point of view in distance.
The space, positioned in the basement, has a facade opening to a little courtyard. Aiming a balance not to disturb the concentration on the products and break the liquid form, this courtyard become a breath to the space with an approach of a clearly defined slit that frames the view.
In areas that the display system is concave in the plan, regressive arrengement of the shelfs that recede from the arc center as rising in the section, provides a zonning opportunity that can be exist in a continuous form, for brand’s product group which specialized and varying every season.
By positioning on a parellel mechanism to the curvilinear shelf sytem, the sliding mesh panels that brand’s sport textiles displayed on, provides opportunity for presentation of textiles combined with different shoes.
