Located within an active textile production facility, the project reimagines the office and dining areas of Şahin Örme as spaces that support daily work routines while remaining closely connected to the company's manufacturing operations.

Rather than separating administrative and social functions from production, Zemberek Design sought to establish a continuous relationship between the two. The design approach was guided by the idea that employees should remain aware of and connected to the manufacturing process that forms the core of the company's identity.

The programme includes office spaces, meeting areas, circulation zones and a dining hall integrated into the existing factory structure. Spatial interventions were developed to improve comfort, functionality and workplace experience without disrupting the operational requirements of the facility.

A restrained material palette was selected to reflect the industrial character of the building while introducing a warmer atmosphere for employees. Durable finishes, carefully considered lighting and contemporary furnishings contribute to a working environment that balances efficiency with comfort.

Visual connections between workspaces and production areas help reinforce the relationship between administrative functions and manufacturing activities. Transparency, openness and clarity of circulation were prioritised throughout the project to support communication and ease of movement.

The dining area was conceived as more than a functional cafeteria. Designed as a social gathering space, it provides employees with opportunities for interaction and relaxation during the workday. The use of natural materials and generous lighting helps distinguish the space from the surrounding industrial environment while maintaining coherence with the overall design language.

By transforming previously utilitarian support spaces into employee-focused environments, the project demonstrates how industrial facilities can incorporate contemporary workplace principles while preserving their operational character.
